THE DETAILS MATTER
Two files. One clear picture.
Check a revision or find gaps in a supplier quote. Match columns, review the differences, and export the evidence.
Updated BOM
No fileCurrency selection applies only when neither file maps a currency column. No currency or unit conversions are performed. Part numbers must already contain their intended leading zeros.
How matching, numbers, and review notes work
Keep the identifiers intact
Match by part number, plus parent/location if mapped on both sides. Matching is case-sensitive unless you select the option above. Leading zeros and punctuation are preserved when they are present in the stored cell value. Duplicates are marked ambiguous rather than silently combined.
Make unknowns visible
Blank quantities and prices stay unknown. Invalid numbers, mismatched units, and mixed currencies are flagged. Unit aliases such as each / ea are normalized, but kg is never converted to g. Choose the decimal-comma option for numbers such as 1.234,56.
Import the supported formats
CSV, TSV, and plain XLSX workbooks; up to 10 MB, 20,000 data rows, and 200 columns per file. Put unique headers in the first used row. Excel formulas use saved values and are never calculated here. Recalculate and save first. XLS, XLSM, passwords, PDFs, OCR, and automatic date/number-format reconstruction are not supported.
Review the source documents
This tool organizes a comparison. It does not approve a supplier, verify an engineering design, place an order, or certify a revision. In quote mode, a covered line means the mapped fields passed these checks; check exclusions and the original quote before deciding.
