TWO PRACTICAL CHECKS

For the work between
the spreadsheet and the decision.

Keep the familiar files. Make the comparison easier to follow.

01 / REVISION

What changed in this BOM?

Compare previous and updated parts lists. Find additions, removals, quantity changes, revisions, and mapped price differences.

  • Match by part number and optional parent/location
  • Preserve identifiers stored as text, including leading zeros
  • Flag duplicates instead of silently combining them
  • See cost changes on known, comparable matched lines
02 / QUOTE COVERAGE

Does this quote cover the requirement?

Check one supplier quote against your required-parts list. See missing lines, short quantities, revision differences, and unknown prices.

  • Keep missing values visible
  • Flag unit and currency mismatches
  • See requested quantities at known quoted prices
  • Export the rows that explain the result

BEFORE YOU START

A few practical answers.

What does “offline” mean?

The product runs from a single downloaded HTML file in a modern desktop browser. File processing happens locally. You can disconnect from the internet after downloading the file.

What kinds of spreadsheets work?

Flat parts lists in CSV, TSV, or plain XLSX, with unique headers in the first used row. The limit is 10 MB, 20,000 data rows, and 200 columns per input. Pick the appropriate worksheet in multi-sheet workbooks.

Does it read PDF quotations or calculate Excel formulas?

No. PDF/OCR, XLS/XLSM, encrypted workbooks, and automatic conversion of Excel display formats are outside this version. Formulas use their saved values; recalculate and save the workbook in Excel before importing. Store identifiers with significant leading zeros as text.

Does it choose a supplier or approve a purchase?

No. It organizes mapped fields and flags issues for review. Known subtotals exclude freight, tax, tooling, minimum orders, and commercial terms. It never converts currencies or units automatically or places orders.

Is there a subscription?

The offline edition is a single purchase for this version, for use within one business. There is no subscription or promise of future upgrades. Review the purchase and refund information before buying.
